First Birthday
Addie had her first birthday a couple of weeks ago, and she had a blast celebrating it twice! First we were up in Idaho the weekend before. She never really dug into her cake that much which we all thought was pretty funny. Then the week after on Mother's day we celebrated her actual birthday and she would not dig into that cake then either! I guess she is just not that big of a fan of cake. A couple days later I was feeding her refried beans, which happen to be her favorite, for dinner and I realized I should have made her birthday cake out of refried beans! She loves the balls she got for her birthday, and she is starting to understand how to make the popper work although she often runs it into the wall and then gets frustrated. I love that the beans are ALL over her face but she wouldn't even go after the cake. It is crazy to think that she is now 1.
